Tastes of Wellington West took place on September 16. This annual street festival, which is organized by the Wellington West Business Improvement Area (WWBIA), gives residents and visitors alike a “taste” of what the area has to offer.
”We work in the area and wanted to check out the event. We’re enjoying this great kombucha-infused sangria from the Herb & Spice Shop on Wellington St. W.,” says Ashley Harris (right). She’s pictured here with Alexandra Martin (left), and Kerry Johnston (centre).
Danika Smith (right) volunteered to try pottery at the Hintonburg Pottery Shop with instructor Ginger McCoy who loves sharing her knowledge and experience with others.
John and Rebecca Bruser recently moved to Ottawa from the Northwest Territories. They are enjoying their first experience at the Tastes of Wellington West with 3 1/2 month old Zach, who is sound asleep as they enjoy a pastry from a local shop.
Hintonburg residents Kim Truong-Trieu and Kayla Wemt are enjoying their first time at the Tastes of Wellington West. Here they are tasting samples of natural electrolytes from Watson’s Pharmacy & Compounding Center.
“We are loving the great weather and the tasty samples,” says Amanda Guilfoyle. She’s pictured here with Katie Boswell (left), and Christy Boswell (right).
“I’m having lots of fun at the Tastes of Wellington West. It’s my second time here,” says Maggie Carruthers.
Scott Watson, owner of Watson’s Pharmacy & Compounding Centre, says he is very happy to be a part of the celebration along Wellington West.
