October 30 – Westgate Spook Fest
Come to Westgate Shopping Centre dressed in costume and meet Spiderman and the ice queen from Frozen! 3 p.m. – 7 p.m.

October 31 – A scary fundraiser
Bring non-perishable food items to 112 Clarendon from 6-8pm on Saturday night to get a treat from the Merry Dairy to help Parkdale Food Centre! Sharing is scaring!

October 31 – Halloween at Carlingwood
Children, under 12 years of age, are invited to dress up for Halloween and meet and greet Peter Pan, Captain Hook and Tinkerbell at Carlingwood Shopping Centre between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Photographs, emailed to your home, are $5 each with all proceeds donated to CHEO. Trick or treating will take place on Saturday, October 31 between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Children, under 12 years of age, can Trick or Treat at participating Carlingwood stores – to know which stores have candy look for the Carlingwoodland Halloween sign in store windows. Candy is available while supplies last.

October 31 – Halloween at Dovercourt
Did you know our friends at Dovercourt Recreation Centre transform into a haunted Community Centre on Sat. Oct. 31? There’s sweet stuff for the younger kids and scarier stuff for the older ones. Drop by between 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. It’s free!

October 31 – Halloween fundraising party at the Westboro Legion
This fundraising event is in support of the Ottawa Dragon Masters and the SportChicks Senior B Dragonboat teams, who are heading to the world championships in Australia. Tickets are $15. There’ll be prizes for best costume, and more. The party starts at 6:30 at the Westboro Legion. For tickets contact je60miller@yahoo.com

October 31 – Halloween dance
From 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Saturday (Halloween night) at the Westboro Legion. No cover charge, free snacks. Live music provided by Pam and Doug Champagne and prizes for costumes.

October 31 – Halloween DJ party at the Hintonburg Public House
DJ The Wide-Eyed Sound will be spinning SPOOKY beats from 10 p.m.-2 a.m. There’s be prizes for best costume & more. No cover, just a ghoulishly good time.

October 31 – Hip Hop Halloween Jam at The Elmdale
Classics and party anthems all night. Guest Host: Floydeeeee. Cover is $10, or  $5 if you’re wearing a costume. Downloadable masks are available right here.

November 1 – Pumpkin Parade
On Sunday, November 1, bring your Halloween pumpkin to the Byron Linear Tramway Park (along the pathway just east of Island Park Drive). Come back between 6 and 8 p.m. to walk a path of glowing pumpkins. Candles will be provided. Everyone welcome!
